Bolivia
Microjusticia Bolivia (MJB) was created in the beginning of 2007 with the goal to develop Microjustice in Bolivia.
On the basis of an assessment and investigation a Pilot Program took place from March 2007 to March 2008. In this Program working protocols were developed and the first services were delivered in the area of civil documentation. The aim of this Pilot phase was to experiment with the principles and possible methodology of MJ. Based on the success of the Pilot phase as well as on the information and experience derived from the Pilot, as of April 2008 the first “best practices” have been developed, including economies of scale in the services and identifying the ideal profile for facilitators, both in rural and urban zones. Since early 2008 MJB functions as regional MJ organization, helping the establishment of new MJ organizations in Perú and in Colombia.
